- He's not a very good leader. Which is to say, he couldn't lead The Skugge by himself, he needs people with him, working by his side.
- He is perhaps too sympathetic, and tends to take others problems on his shoulders, wanting to help them and this can put a lot of strain on him
- Aedan is a romantic at heart, which means he often falls prey to his emotions.
- He's weak in physique. He just isn't strong, and this means that he cannot fight by himself. He's simply not built for it, with his lack of muscle.

Personality ;
Aedan, codenamed Solo for his tendency to be seen walking the corridors of their base alone, is a very mellow boy. He isn't at all loud or conspicuous, and keeps himself to himself the majority of the time. Trustworthy and honest, he's good at keeping secrets, and even better at maintaining friendships, and is a loyal companion. He'll fight until his last breath to defend that which he holds dear. Or at least, he would, if he could fight.
He's weak, you see. Not in terms of mental stability like his brother, but in a physical sense. Aedan isn't exactly muscular, though he is tall. As such, he's very self-conscious, and refuses to so much as go shirtless in the scorching summers. He dislikes social circumstances, and tends to avoid speaking to the group as a collective for any amount of time, preferring to have small conversations between himself and one or two others.
Aedan is the type to be very submissive in conversation, letting other people lead without much fuss, and allowing them to make decisions for him regarding matters involving himself. For example, if someone was speaking with him about, say, what colour his eyes were, he'd let them have their opinions without much fuss, and agree with that which he thought to be true as well as what they thought. He'd let the other person have the satisfaction of knowing that the owner of the eyes in question was in agreement with them.
This is because he likes to see people happy. He knows more than most what this new world can do to people, what it can turn them into, and he doesn't like to see people upset or bogged down because of this. He would do almost anything to get people to smile, which is one of the reasons he has no qualms at all about playing his music for the group. If it helps his friends, anything goes.
Despite his insecurities, though, he will fight you to the death if necessary to protect his own views. He'll defend others quicker than himself, sure, but if you so much as try to make fun of him, he'll shut you down faster than you can say 'girly boy'.
Contrary to his height, he's not imposing at all as a person, in fact, because of the soft expression he tends to wear at all times, he seems almost feminine in nature. He conducts himself in a very elegant manner, straight back, hands folded neatly in his lap when seated, and always has a set articulation to his words, never missing letters unless necessary. However, he's not 'prissy' or 'high strung' like some might suspect, and acts the way he does only because he thinks he should, as a leader, treat everyone else with respect. For he wouldn't even be able to stay as he was without them.

A masochist at one moment and a sadist the next, Ry is unpredictable at best and, put simply, he cannot be trusted to remain in one state of mind, particularly for a raid. He is prone to letting his turbulent emotions get the better of him, and as such has very little self-control, if any. He needs his brother and his friends to tell him when he's gone too far and needs to sop, and often relies on them to calm himself down, using them as a way of anchoring his feelings into a reasonable state of mind.
Ry's mental stability is weak in general, and he often finds it hard to regulate his emotions and make sure he doesn't do anything brash. That's where those who care for him and whom he cares for come in, and it would be an understatement to say anything less than he needs them to keep him sane. Particularly at the times in which he's unstable.
At times he can seem to be the sweetest, most loving person on the planet, but give it two minutes and that will have morphed dramatically into something much more sinister. It would be a mistake to claim that he doesn't enjoy the raids the group sometimes have to go on, and even more of a mistake would it be to suggest that he kills accidentally. In fact, one could go so far as to say he enjoys it.
Ry is deeply interested, you won't be surprised to hear, in anything occult related. From the existence of ghosts to Ouija boards, Ry can talk you out of an hour of your time to be spent just listening to him ramble on about them. He's fascinating by that area of things, and will spend hours on end in the nearby library building, just sat on the cold marble floor surrounded by books on magic, the occult, and more.
He also enjoys painting [if he is lucky enough to find any paints during raids or scouting missions] and drawing, and in his spare time, aside from reading up on the darker side of the world, he'll be in the main room of the base, doodling away in a sketchbook he pilfered from some unfortunate art student's apartment some months ago. Which, coincidentally, is also where he got his first art supplies, and where he likes to return to [often after hours, so as not to so easily get caught sneaking around] to see if he missed anything.
Despite his...unreliable mental state, Ry is a confident boy, and is not afraid of telling people exactly what he wants and going out of his way to get it. For example, if he likes you he will make that explicitly clear, seeing no reason in not admitting to feelings. After all, he's well aware of the ways his emotions can change at the drop of a hat, so he feels it's necessary to assure people he loves them when and where he can.
This is because he's afraid of losing people, of being alone, so he likes to try to make the most of what he has before he becomes his own worst enemy and pushes people away from him.

- He has a fear of killing himself. As an individual who often is unaware of what he's doing [particularly in his manic episodes] Ry fears the worst possible outcome of that.
